Toasted cavendish, golden cavendish and the best burleys combined into a flavorful bite free mixture. Delightfully aromatic. Very pleasing taste.

out of tobacco, with a shipment to arrive in 2 days and only a 20 in my wallet. i hoofed it to walgreens to pick this up, hoping the 12 oz bag would at least get me through untill my SG flakes and peterson tins arrived, then i could toss it. i may keep it around to blend in some latakia, but not great on its own. it is as described, mellow. i agree with many of the reviewers, in that the extreme amount of humctampt or whatever gets in the way of the natural tobacco taste and smell. only when it burns hot can you taste it. not bad, when you get the flavoring out of the way. mellow, almost a whiskey taste, but not really noticable under the preservative. no nicotine punch, which was dissapointing. really mild, cool smoke, not anything to write home about, but not really something to toss. will keep this bag to blend or to smoke if i am in the mood for something bland.

Far to much humectant in this whiskey blend to make it useful for anything other than garden mulch.

as with the others before me, i find this blend to need drying-- again 3 days airing before use made it better, but possibly drying in in an oven for a period might help even more--when first smoking MB i tried a bowl without drying--it would gurgle a bit--better after drying
strength and flavor were very mild and medium--i gave room note as pleasant, bit since i smoke only outdoors you must draw your own conclusion--
i will recommend this blend for use on it's own (with some special preparation), or as a base to do your own blending--if you are in a tobacco wilderness as i am, with VERY limited choices locally, this is a blend that you may be able to live with--
EDIT:: never could get the blend dried to the degree that i wanted--sooooo i put it in the direct sun, left it for several hours--it became very dry--almost fall leaf dry--jarred it--left it for some time---today i tried it--the chemical taste was noticably less--from first light it was quite flavorful--there was still some bite, but noticably reduced--just be careful--
evidently the sunning affected the PG--it's still not a top notch blend and never will be, but even as dry as i made it, it was improved over the ""out of the store"" version--in an emergency, if you're broke or whatever the reason, you can use this, just remember what it is--

Like anything else from Blender's Gold, I have to leave it in a baking pan for a day or two to dry it out. It packs and lights well, rarely bites and has a pretty decent taste to it.

I smoke this by itself. Better used in blending. Mixed 2 parts Mellow Blend to 1 part Smokin Joes Black Cordial. After mix marrys, very pleasant smoke. Can't beat price at $5 for 12oz!
