The Syrian Latakia element in this one comes through in huge waves of deeply rich and pungent (not to mention sweet) layers of flavor and blue smoke. The Cigar leaf employed was used with a delicate hand and did not overpower the accompanying long stoved rich Red Virginias, ripe and spicy Orientals and a touch of Perique from St. James Parish. And I loved the chunk of leaf wadded up in Krumble Kake form that tumbled out of my tin when I popped the lid. Oh so easy to load up and even easier to smoke!

Great stuff but Hermit never has any available. To bead I am sure it would be one of their better blends. The latakia although a bit musky and damp stays lit easily. The perique is very very faint which is very good because it dose not over power the cigar leaf. A real treat if you can ever get it from them.
