India House is a fancy and very old gentlemen's club near Wall Street, in New York City. Its elegant Federal Era brownstone palazzo is a landmark in the financial district. It just spells old money.

And this is an unexceptional old-fashioned American Cavendish of the kind that was popular 50 and more years ago. Many men still smoke this type of light mixture today. Not the worst, by any means. If you are historically-minded, go ahead!

India House reminded me somewhat of another old "drugstore" blend that I can't quite grasp. The Cavendish is mild as is the Virginia leaf and had an old fashioned taste. If you added unsweetened Black Cavendish to Prince Albert then I imagine it would taste similar to India House. My pouch is very old and the tobacco was very dry. I re-humidified the contents before smoking and history dictates that probably dummied down the original intended flavor a bit. Not sure the flavor of this one (light or heavy), would excite me.
