I tried this blend many years ago and I remember having trouble keeping the tobacco lit even when I dried it considerably. Tin note was fruity (cherry) and floral (rose), feminine I would say in a way, probably influenced by the tin design. Not aggressive and quite elegant. Wide ribbon cut with several colours of leaf, a little unusual for an aromatic tobacco, it looked nice but as I said it was hard to keep it lit and I puffed and puffed harder and almost no flavor seemed to come out of this very faint tobacco. Low in nicotine, low in flavor, not for me really...

I did not understand the aroma of tobacco.. For the tongue pinching, but not as I thought.. I would not recommend this tobacco. I expected better, I am distressed.

Definitely a cut above the Borkum Riffs and the Captain Blacks. If there was nothing else on hand I would smoke this.

I am surprised that no one has reviewed this blend before You have to try this one a nice mixture burns well when dryer. Aroma better in the tin the in the pipe. Burns well a good aroma for the guy smoking the pipe not for everone else in the room. It is a fun blend for a change of pace. Nice size tin will last a while. Not an all day smoke.

Very decorative tin, opening the tin this is a broken flake blend of Virginia, Burley, Black Cavendish and Oriental tobaccos with very little to no aroma, although, the tobacco was fresh.
It took me about three matches in attempt to get the tobacco lit, the aroma was very mild, and a mild taste. The tobacco did taste better as it very slowly burned it's way toward the bottom of the bowl with a very mild sweetness.
As an aromatic pipe smoker IMO this is not really that predominate in an aromatic tobacco. Although, there was no tongue bite or a harshness of the blend. I did detect a little gurgling, but not enough to be too concerned about.
The aroma of this tobacco was a little too lite for my liking, IMHO the Cavendish, Burley and the Oriental tobaccos take away the from the Virginia.
