Affordable Pipes Fog Cutter
(3.00)
A blend of stout dark Kentucky and Tennessee Burleys combined with other dark cut Cavendish tobaccos and a light touch of Virginia. Nice room note. This will be pleasing to both the aromatic and non-aromatic smoker. A unique blend that will be a pleasant surprise.

Despite the problem I had in getting my order filled (took almost two weeks)- The Is a thumbs up. When you first get this, It comes in a nice vac sealed baggie, unlike other vendors who ship in zip locks. Upon breaking the seal, You do get a very cased whiff of Vanilla? Liquor? Very hard to pin down. I let it air out over night, and it was perfect moisture, so there is some pg present- but most of the heavy casing smell is gone to- now down to some nice tobacco smoking. Full flavor- still some case taste and smell, which is ok. Nicotine was fufilling. Smoked well to the bottom of the bowl. Give it a try- For the price it works very well- Hopefully the delivery issue was isolated. ****Update Well, After about a month, the taste and body of this seems to flatten out. Not sure why. Today, This smoked like hot air. Unfortunatly have to downgrage my review. Its great new, But over the long haul....Not worth the effort.

I am honored to be the first to review this tobacco. I recieved a sample of this when I ordered the 5oz sampler pack. Normally I withhold judgment on a tobacco until I've smoked at least 4oz. This gives you the opportunity to try it in several pipes and at different times of the day. Having said that, I am going to submit a review for all 6 of the tobaccos I recieved as samples. (Jackie was kind enough to thow in one more to the mix-see my review of Guy's Navy Blend for that!) I don't love aromatics-I tire of them easily. I don't consider any of the blends I've tried from Affordable Pipes "true"aromatics. They are more like "semi-aromatics." Fog Cutter is pleasant to the nostrils and the flavoring is detected, but not so much as to overpower or conceal the great tobacco flavor. I have found this characteristic of the other AP blends as well. A perfect balance is struck between a straight tobacco blend and an aromatic. I don't know how they've done it, but done it they have! If you enjoy Burley and Virginia blends, but crave the pleasant sweetness of an aromatic, look no further than Affordable Pipes. I am sure they have a blend for you. 4 Solid Stars!
