Magne Falkum No.201
(3.00)
Translated from German website information: Virginia tobaccos from the USA represent the main flavor carriers of the well rounded so called "Kanzlermischung". Just a bit of black cavendish and a decent chocolate casing complete a unique taste adventure. The variant cut leafs enable nice packing and easy smoking. Mild but also substantial mixture that's pledged not only by one of Germany's former chancellors. We and many of our customers feel confident to say that MF Prime Selection 201 is one of the best Danish mixtures on the market as the Kanzlermischung is one of our best selling pipe tobaccos for many years.

Finally a chocolate flavored blend that doesn't contain any Burley but mainly VA and just a tiny bit of BC.
Look of this variant cut (also pressed tobaccos in here) is of medium brown color with few black dots inside. Cold smell is warm and liquorish; almost bitter with a bit of cocoa. Packs just nice and takes flames easily the burns without relighting or any tongue bite a bit fast but evenly.
Unlike the smell there's nothing bitter or alcohol-like in the taste, which is nicely dominated by sweet, smooth VA without acidity. Flavoring is not too strong but always there and of nice creamy chocolate taste sometimes with hints of caramel also. Hardly any citric notes here as they wouldn't fit to the warm character of this Mixture which is also underlined by a sweet dark Cavendish.
Fits great with a cup of coffee and a day that's dedicated to sweets. Very moderate pricing and a nice room note (my wife calls it county fair candyfloss)
