Received a huge but pretty dried out load of this by a friend. After rehydrating a week it had regained a nice moisture level that would pack so nicely when folded that I won't rub this one out. Cold smell is of sour bread, hey and honey wine and reminds me a bit of warm summer evenings down by the river.
Taste is dominated by sweet and citric VA leaf cased by liquorish honey flavor similar to Mac Baren's Navy Flake flavoring with less of the chocolate but nutty and way more acidity so the smoke comes along less heavy. The honey aroma is a bit fake but never overpowering and it will stay until the end even with large bowls. No ups and downs here.
Solid VA Flake of nice quality, sweet over all and maybe a bit boring. No tongue bite detected; likes to be smoked slowly.
