The spicy, earthy, woody, mildly floral dark fired Kentucky is the star component. The red and brighter Virginias provide some dark fruit, a lot of earth and wood, some citrus, and a little floral grass. The licorice topping, along with a little molasses, sublimate the tobaccos to a moderate extent. The strength and taste levels are medium. The nic-hit is just of the center of mild to medium. Won’t bite, but does have a rough edge at times. This broken flake mixture easily breaks apart to suit your preference. Burns fairly cool, very clean, and little slow with a very consistent flavor that also translates to the lingering after taste. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and needs some relights. Not quite an all day smoke.
