A hard blend to find for most, I gave it a try from my local b&m, the identifying class of blend is definitely off. This is not an aromatic blend at all it is an English with Oriental blend. Extremely smooth, a rep told my lock b&m it was a pseudo replacement for Peterson’s Old Dublin. I find this one slightly milder in ‘spice’ and smoother and actually prefer it more to Old Dublin.
At first light it can sometimes have some ‘soapiness’ but it quickly disappears and becomes a fireside Smokey smooth and tart taste. Heavier clouds from the Latakia I am guessing, wonderfully smooth and burns even.
Recommended with a briar pipe or corncob.
