Tabakfabrik Roth Jägertabak
(4.00)
Jägertabak: burley and Virginia mixture, 1-3. quality, 100% grown in Switzerland. By adding a flavoring of caramel and a casing of honey and molasses we create a bright, mellow mixture with a subtle aroma.
Notes: From the website: Incredible but true. It is possible to make a spicy and palatable blend and that's produced solely from tobaccos that were grown in Switzerland! You'll notice the pleasure of burley and Virginia notes, without any distracting other aromas. Our tobaccos are offered in various cutting widths: Pure-Cut: ~1.5mm | Medium-Cut: ~3.5mm | Rough-Cut: ~9.0mm.
'Jägertabak' means 'Hunters-Tobacco' . In Switzerland they grade their tobaccos from 1st to 3rd quality grade.

My review for "Älplertabak" by Tabakfabrik Roth applies for this one aswell, with the only difference in the flavorings. Whilst the Älplertabak has a fruity-fresh touch due to the addition of apricot, this one, Jägertabak, has a warm, caramel-y flavoring to it, which makes it more "dark" in flavors and generally a very "warm taste".
It's exactly the same tobacco base, only the flavoring sets it apart from the Älplertabak. Personally I like Älplertabak a bit more, as I find it a bit more smooth on the palate, but I suppose that's personal preference!
