Hearth & Home Marquee Concerto is a rich and robust American style Balkan made of burley, Virginia, Turkish, black cavendish, Cyprian latakia.
It is a Latakia heavy blend with lots of Burley, along with some Orientals, Virginia, and Perique. The blend has smokiness, earthiness, sweetness, and spice, with all the players working together, much like listening to a concerto.
Notes: From P&C : Before P&C moved from Albany, NY to Bethlehem, PA, Russ had blended a latakia heavy blend with lots of burley, along with some Orientals, Virginia, and perique. It was supposed to be a new entry in the Hearth & Home Marquee line, but it never got sent out for tinning. When it came time to move, it got packed away and because it was such a hectic time, forgotten. When we discovered it earlier this year we sent it out to be tinned, but we wanted to use the old tins, and for old time's sake we asked Russ to design the label, which he had done for most of the old entries to the line. The blend has smokiness, earthiness, sweetness, and spice, with all the players working together, much like listening to a concerto, so that's what we decided to call it. Grab some, and we think you'll agree that Hearth & Home Marquee Concerto hits all the right notes.
