I was lucky to receive a sample of this blend from a Belgian friend. I've only been able to smoke four or five bowls and upon this limited experience I base this review.

The cut is very fine and reminds of baaitabak and Semois. It has a uniform orange colour. It smells of baaitabak and coconut.

The roomnote is coconut, quite pleasant.

Other than I expected, it smokes cool, with surprisingly little smoke. It doesn't burn too quickly and it doesn't hurt my tongue.

It burns quickly and needs to be tightly packed to keep it lit. If packed tightly, no relights are needed. Indeed, it can be smoked mindlessly..

It's a light tobacco with a subtle flavouring (coconut) that can be enjoyed at any moment of the day. There's no aftertaste, no lingering smoke in the air after smoking.

I rather like it.

The base of this blend is mostly burley, but there is definitely Virginia and some orientals in there. The colour is an almost even dark beige to light brown, with some tiny spots of very light or deep brown in between. The smell from the pot is quite overwhelming with a strong vanilla and caramel flavour. The cut is marked as "course" on the pot, but in reality the cut is rather fine, giving almost a visual impression like cigarette tobacco. It packs nicely into the pipe bowl and burns evenly. The room note is very pleasant and brings that savoury smell most people associate with pipe smoking. The taste in the mouth brings that vanilla and caramel flavour in a subtle way without ever becoming syrupy. The undertone is mildly acidic, allowing the tobacco flavours to be discovered.
Pipe Used: Mostly Canadian

When u open the 100g pot, the vanilla smell is quite strong and you can also smell some hints of coconut. The cut is rather small and thus if packed loose burns quickly. You can really pack this stuff thight it wont bite !;) When smoking I tasted Some nice vanilla , a Little coconut but its really the tobaccos that do it for me ! Some nice Virginias and some oriental in there. Its a nice mix between the tobacco and vanilla. The vanilla taste is a mild, not in-your-face vanilla. Its a nice all-day smoke and is also realy cheap :0 Give it a try !
