This has been sitting in my cellar for over a year now. Last March, when I'd just started smoking the pipe, I was looking for a tasty aromatic since I didn't dare trying out English blends (which I love nowadays, by the way). According to the pouch this came in, the taste is similar to vanilla and white wine/alcohol. What I'm getting, however, is none of that. It tastes nutty, slightly fruity, and very cigarette-like with a hint of old alcohol, maybe Schnaps that's been sitting behind the counter and has been open for years on end. As with most aromatics, this one smokes hot and can bite you if you draw too often. The bite can't really be avoided if you want to actually taste something instead of hot air. Pretty easy to light and to keep lit, produces dense smoke and doesn't offend the non-smokers with its unobtrusive and slightly sweet aroma. All in all, I wouldn't recommend you buying this blend, unless you like smoking hot air.
