Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. - Kendal Gold Chocolate (Kendal Gold).
Like the others in the Kendal Gold series, the blend's a delicate shag, and a mixture of medium brown and yellow pieces. I bought mine from G. Q. Tobaccos and they always roll the pouch up tightly around their loose blends to ensure that when you get it the moisture's as it was when it was in the store.
As the description says: Kendal Gold with a chocolate flavouring. So, it's a smoke made of quality Virginia, with chocolate! The chocolate's easy to recognise in the smoke. It doesn't seem sticky, but is more than obvious. The Virginia gives a flavour the same as the others in the Kendal Gold series: grassy Virginia! Like the other Kendal Gold's, if it's puffed too recklessly it can become warm. But, I get no tongue bite.
Nicotine: mild to medium. Room-note: nice.
This is a pleasant smoke, not brilliant, but worth a recommendation:
Three stars.
