Leonard Dingler LTD Nineteen O'Four Whisky
(2.00)
Notes: It was 1904. Amid a backdrop of prosperity, extraordinary courage and new frontiers, Leonard Dingler arrived in the old Transvaal to join the search for fame and fortune. He brought not only his passionate sense of adventure, but also the family tradition of fine tobacco making.
Little has changed. These time-honoured tobacco blends are still created with the same skill and discernment that was Leonard Dingler's trade mark, then and now.

This is a strange tobacco. Unfortunately there is no description in the tin. Only the flavoring is indicated: whisky. In my opinion this is straight Burley with a light sweet English casing. I don’t taste any whisky in it but maybe there is a hint. At the beginning, in the ignition moment, you can taste a sweet candy flavored which disappears immediately; then only Burley and nothing else. I’m puzzled: this is an aromatic but it is not aromatic (taste like unflavored Burley); it is flavored with whisky but I can’t taste whisky. Ultimately it is more a natural tobacco than a flavored one. Neither fish nor fowl. For these reasons in my personal rating system (from 1 to 10) my score is 5 and two stars.
