Motzek Plug No. 2
(3.00)
A plug from Virginias and black cavendish. Sweet and mild tobaccos are slightly aromatized with maple-syrup and then pressed under high pressure into plug form.
Notes: Now with a new recipe! The (real) maple-syrup got replaced with (real) honey in September 2017

Only sampled this twice as this is a bit too mild for my every-day smokes. Yet it is a very pleasant tobacco and a great aromatic tobacco with a rather natural tobacco tendency that'll appeal to both aromatic lovers leaning towards natural blends and natural lovers who seek for a slightly flavored blend.
Got to smoke both incarnations, the one with maple-syrup and with honey. In both incarantions the usage of non-artifical flavoring (real honey and real maple-syrup) made for a most natural aromatic scent. The tobaccos are decently spicy and smooth and mellow. Not overly sweet as well. The maple syrp added a somewhat "forest-y" touch to the smoke, whilst the honey in the new incarnation is rather caramell-y and honey-ish in the smoke.
Pleasant, smooth and mild tobacco. Some people fear plugs for being too strong, but Plug No. 2 is exceptionally mild for a plug! Definetly worth trying! Albeit it's not my cup of coffee it's worth 4-stars to me, as it's one of the best flavored blends I smoked so far.
