The tobaccos were greatly sublimated by the soapy, perfumy, toppings, of which anise and perhaps bourbon were among them. The grass from the Virginia, sugar fro the black cavendish, nuts and wood from the Kentucky and burley were just noticeable enough that you knew they were there. Had a mild nic-hit. Didn’t bite, but fast puffing could get one a harsh note or two. Burned at a reasonable pace with a mostly consistent flavor. Left a little moisture in the bowl, and needed a few relights. Was not an all day smoke, and would ghost a briar in short order.
