A simply outstanding straight Virginia with dark and mottled leaf. My tin was the original 1980s production and while the maker remains unknown, the rich presentation of quality leaf tells me this is McConnell's all the way. Smokes very cool and very slow. Also produces a whale of a lot of smoke for a straight Virginia. Bold and naturally sweet with just a hint of that grassy Virginia taste that top shelf blends like this offer.
