Another sleeper tobacco that's a must try. Whether you prefer English, only smoke Aromatics or are an OTC Burley type Decatur's Soft and Mellow will be sure to please every palate. If you like something stronger in flavor or spicier this may not be for you. Had no bite and nice body with silky clouds of smoke. Similar to Holger Danske Daily Mixture in many respects, this has a gentle top note and could be its clone (but with a pinch of Black Cavendish to up the anty). Hints of citronella, cocoa and caramel. The Black Cavendish adding a little depth. Reasonably priced ($12 for 4oz) and won't dissapoint with its unobtrusive but delightful room note. Decatur also offers two other blends that might peak one's interest: Black Cherry and Sweet Dark Rum. Four stars in my book. Burns cool and not too sweet. Just letting other pipsters know about a line of pipe tobacco for which there seems to be no mention or reviews. UPDATE 1-16-17: just cracked open a jar of this which had been aging for at least 8 months. All I can say is wow. Mellow, sweet with a hint of hay, citrus and mocha. If you get your hands on some of DMM jar and age it. Also noticed more body in the smoke. Very good indeed. Just remember this is one of the bulks that is being phased out. Ask around and see if other pipsters are willing to barter on this one.

I only gave this blend 2 stars because I found this to be too bland for my taste. It is very mild and cool. It was almost like sucking air with just a tad bit of taste. I like a bit more of a kick when I smoke. This might be a good tobacco for a newbie to start with so to learn how to smoke a pipe, but I would move on ASAP to something more substantial.
