This unique pipe tobacco contains high-quality Tennessee and Kentucky white Burley tobaccos, expertly blended for a richer flavor, and a longer, cooler smoke for the pipe and cigarette smoker. Also process-aged but cut for "roll your own" and manufactured to give the beginner a milder, more free-burning smoke.

The Tennessee and Kentucky white burleys provide a lot of earth, wood, nuts, light sugar, a small savory sourness, and a few very small molasses notes. The molasses was likely a tad more obvious had time not dissipated it, but I don’t know how much may have present when freshly produced. The strength and nic-hit are a step past the mild mark. The taste is just short of the center of mild to medium. Won’t bite or get harsh, but there are a few rough edges. Burns clean, fairly cool and a little fast with a very consistent flavor that extends to the lightly lingering, pleasant after taste. Barely leaves any dampness in the bowl, and requires very few relights as it’s essentially a fine cigarette cut production. Has a mild, pleasant room note. An all day smoke for pipes or cigarettes though I smoked it in a pipe. According to the tax stamp, this pocket tin was manufactured in 1953.
