This bright Virginia tobacco offers light citrus, a small pinch of sugar, and some grass and hay. The rich peach topping sublimates to a great extent. The toppings also tone down possible cigarette notes. The strength and taste levels are a step past mild to medium. The nic-hit is mild to medium. Won't bite. Burns clean and cool at a moderate pace, though the tobacco is a little moist. Has a fairly consistent flavor all the way through. Leaves a little dampness in the bowl, and needs a few relights. Has a pleasant after taste. Not quite an all day smoke.

Very fine, light golden shag cut. Comes very dry, looking like RYO tobacco. Smells of peach iced tea, with a good tobacco base note. I pack this a little tighter than normal, to slow the very fast burn. Once lit, it stays lit well. It is a bit fussy, however, and I believe that to be due to the fast burn and lots of associated ash. Flavor is good, grassy sweet with a little marzipan from the tobacco, with a reasonably mild peach topping. I was surprised that this isn’t a total sweet peach bomb, but still retains a good VA note with a tangy peach note. Again, as in the bag note, peach iced tea is the most reminiscent flavor. Does burn a bit wet and hot, but not terribly so. Tartness and sweetness increases through the bowl. Definitely will ghost a pipe, I’d encourage a dedicated peach cob for it. I’d say it’s a solid 2.5 stars, good, not great, but surprisingly light handed with the topping, earning an extra half star.

Gawith Hoggarth - Kendal Gold Peach.
This could be a very short review; read the reviews on Kendal Gold, imagine adding some peach flavour, hey presto: Kendal Gold Peach!
Jokes aside though, it's actually quite a good blend. I won't go too deep into describing the blend; it's a fine shag, with good moisture, and has a lightly aromatic aroma.
I enjoy the actual smoke, the peach tastes stronger than I anticipated from the pouch-note. It's not too glue/perfume like, but a fairly clean flavour. It's at a good volume to be enjoyed, but it's not horribly over-the-top (for me). At the end of the day, if someone buys a peach aromatic, I'd guess they want it to have a peachy flavour!
The nicotine's stereotypical for the Kendal Gold series: mild to medium.
This is quite a good blend, nothing spectacular, but it's still getting three from me!
Three stars.
