The Country Squire Tobacconist Fleur-de-Lis
(3.00)
An exceptionally smooth smoking mixture with the perfect balance of spice and mellowed-sweetness. Selections of grassy, flue-cured Virginias are delicately paired with dark-fired burley, and a generous portion of Louisiana Perique. Our tribute to the spirit, complexity, and warmth of New Orleans and the Deep South.
The Country Squire is proud to offer this tobacco as the Official Blend of the 1st Annual New Orleans Pipe Show.
Notes: The company web site also lists the "dark fired burley" as "dark fired Kentucky".

I picked up some Fleur-de-Lis from the Country Squire.
The ribbons are really dark in the bag. The smell is spicy from the perique and the Kentucky which are the stars of this blend. Easy to pack with the right level of moisture.
The smoke to me highlights the kentucky and the perique. It's a rich smoke and I can taste spicy/fruitiness from the perique throughout along with the notes of the kentucky coming through. Not much high notes here and I notice the nicotine in this one more than most of the CS blends.
If you like ODF or perique blends.. you'll want to give this one a try. My wife is not a fan of the roomnote.
