Medium Mild to Medium Medium Tolerable

A very good blend, prefereably for outdoor use...a little bit too strong a roomnote to smoke indoors at least in company of wife. The Latakia is predominant but not unpleasant.

Medium Mild to Medium Extra Full Very Pleasant

I got this blend recommended to me by a fellow pipesmoker in Sweden, and he sent me a sample. The next day I had to buy some!

When you open it up, the blend itselt is beautifully cut, with specks of golden red, black, and brown. It has a dominant smell of latakia, as well as something a little extra; dried fruit, rye bread, and a hint of bourbon and sweetness.

The tobacco was a little bit moist, but ten minutes of drying made it just perfect for me.

The smoke is heavy, thick, and packed full of pleasant flavours. Forester Blend behaves like a nice Cuban cigar; it changes flavours the longer you smoke. The latakia is present all the way through the bowl, and you get that lovely sweetness of the virginia and honey, and a subtle note of the Jim Bean. Not overpowering in any way; this blend is extremely well balanced in every segment and yet delivers the maximum flavour from every ingredient.

As you get further down, the bourbon and virginias start to fade out, the sweetness disappears, and in come the orientals for another tasty experience.

I got a little taste of pepper and spice on the retrohale, which adds yet another flavour.

I'm impressed at how complex this blend is, and that it is still so balanced, and a very nice smoke. It works both as an everyday smoke and a weekend smoke. If you get the chance to buy some; go for it! You won't regret it.

I have received no less than 3 generous samples of this, one from the maker and 2 from fellow smoker in S.P.S

The initial note is full with a hint of birch wood. A quarter down the bowlthe initial smokeyness fades sweets form the Virginia pops in and as it matures a third down, that is where I think the Latakias and orientals pops in to give you a smooth and luscious ending.

I am very much someone who enjoys FMC and Squadron Leader, ie mellow to strong English blends and this one fits right in there and delivers a little extra with the Burboun and Orientals! Highly recommended, Also a bonus that it is a Swedish local blend!
