The Virginia is grass and citrus, and is the dominant tobacco. The toasted burley is lightly nutty with only a hint of molasses. The vanilla from the black cavendish is mild. There’s a drop or two of vanilla in the topping as well, but it plays in the background compared to the mild honey. At times I sense a hint of caramel. The toppings are mildly applied as they complement the tobaccos. Has very little nicotine. Won’t bite. Burns cool, clean, a little creamy, and silky smooth at a moderate pace. Has a slightly bready malt note that I tend to notice a little more after the half way point. The flavor is very mild, and I notice the tobacco taste a little more in the last third of the proceedings. Requires few relights, and leaves little moisture in the bowl. Has a nice room note. A very easy going all day smoke. Two and a half stars mainly due to the fact the taste suffers from a little thinness.

Opening the bag is like taking a deep breath of freshly brewed sweet tea at that moment when the sugar and tea are in the jug and the hot water is getting poured over. The toasting light delivers more of that wonderful, Southern summertime sweet tea flavor. The true light reveals a creamy smoke that develops into a rich custard with hints of cocoa, cinnamon, raisin, and a bit of nutty toasted rice. Around half way through the bowl, a strong caramel note comes to the forefront with slight citrus overtone that almost feels like a cup of Earl Grey Tea with plenty of honey. The very pleasant room note has a sweet vanilla tone reminiscent of baking cookies.
This is a wonderful everyday smoke.
