This is a mild and pretty decent English blend. Latakias are there, not so prominent, but enough to provide the necessary spice to this blend and marries beautifuly with the Va and the Orientals. There is, nevertheless, a problem with this tobacco: it is too flat. It's not complicated, there are no different layers of taste, no interplay between its components (of which I never noticed any Java leaf). As a consequence, 100 gramms are too much. I've smoked 50 or 60 gramms and then I got bored and never wanted to finish it.
There are better, IMHO, mild English blends out there than BoE Happy Hour . And, as far as I am concerned, this is not available anymore.
