Gauntleys Of Nottingham Bootleggers Delight
(4.00)
This wickedly good combination of black cavendish, burley and Virginia produces a medium bodied, highly aromatic smoke perfect for summer evenings. Rich notes of nuts are perfectly balanced with citrus fruits, which in turn are backed by a vanilla note on the finish.

Got this in a trade with StevieB. Once again, many thanks Steve.
The added flavorings seem to have been chosen to compliment the tobaccos used here. The nuts compliment the Burley and the citrus the Virginias. The vanilla is the exception and it seems to have more creaminess than flavor. Very nice. I don't get much in the way of fruitiness. There is only a very light toasty note from the Black Cav. This is a very tasty blend bordering on rich. A first class aromatic.
Mild to medium in body and flavoring. Medium in taste. Burns very well.

Gauntleys-Bootleggers Delight. A fabulous smoke.
The smell from the pouch is very intriguing. The nuts and vanilla are without a doubt the main aromas.
The mix looks like it contains a fair amount of each variety of weed. The moistness is A1.
I enjoy the aroma so much it would take an army to stop me filling and lighting asap!
The moment I have my pipe lit?.....Bliss!
Bootleggers Delight. An appropriate name: It really is a delight!
I struggle to detect any fruits, the main tastes are a nutty one and the vanilla. It really gives a smooth, creamy, and tasty smoke.
Of the tobaccos I think the Burley gives the blend its finishing touch. Its nuttiness works wonderfully alongside the added flavours.
The nicotine falls just below medium for me. Remember though, nicotine is more of a subjective thing! Your opinion may differ to mine.
The only negative with this blend is that it does seem to burn a touch fast. Not ridiculously fast but if I were to want a long evening smoke I'd probably load my pipe with something different.
All in all though, this is a great smoke. Highly recommended.

A delightfully girlie mix of friut and flowers. Excellent quality.
A light, summer very dry with traces of vanilla.
It's not for me but I can highly recommend this because it's the best I've ever tried of its kind.
