Alfie Turmeaus-Own Blend Whisky. I'm not convinced that this is a straight Virginia as going on appearance it contains some large 'sheet like' pieces that suggest cigar leaf and a few small jet black ribbons.
The aroma is a straight forward whisky aromatic one, it's actually stronger than the flavour with whisky.
The water amount is good, enabling smoking to commence imminently.
The flavour when lit isn't as aromatic as I expected. The whisky is easy to identify but it isn't too false tasting. As well as the whisky there's a good tobacco flavour. This, I'm still convinced, contains cigar leaf. There is a good Virginia taste but also there's that slightly bitter taste from the cigar leaf.
I get quite a good nicotine punch, not 'really' strong but present nonetheless.
The flavour of whisky stays the same weight throughout a bowl. It doesn't really fluctuate any, it's quite consistent.
This is quite a good whisky aromatic but I can't justify any more than two stars.
Somewhat recommended.
